Azari & III - Hungry For The Power
I know I'm a bit late to the party on this one, but this tune is toe-curlingly hot, and one of my favorites of the year so far. While I'm not particularly a huge fan of the 808, the vocals and warm chords totally do it for me. I'd love to experience this out in the wild, LOUD, as it already sounds great with a simple pair of earbuds. I can't find much out there about a proper 12" release, but I hope it's coming to a dancefloor near me soon. I wish Luomo's work was sounding more like this these days. It reminds me very much his classic The Present Lover, which is one of my favorites of this decade. If you haven't already, check out the mix that Tensnake did recently for Beats & Space, which includes Hungry For The Power and many more great moments, especially during the last 30 minutes or so.
